The gulf of Nicoya offers up many hidey holes to those adventurers who wish to stick their heads in the white sand. Only a day trip from our current position in Quepos, the Nicoyan Gulf beckons. Dois and I checked into Marina Pez Vela last night and slept like babies. Boy, I'd forgotten what it feels like to be completely still while sleeping, nice. And this morning we got water. Water and more water. Water for washing the boat and the dogs and us. Water to use and store. And Internet. What luxuries abound for a mere $130 a night. No room service though, but all the electricity we can consume. Yeehaw.
So while we could live here, our wallet could not. We will leave our cozy fresh water and electrical paradise for another kind of paradise. One where two little dogs can swim and romp on the beach. I wonder if my Hobie kayak will hold air?
Peacable
Peace.
